Hello CPC Brethren,
In Hebrews 8:10, God announced that, “… and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.”
When God says, “I will be your God,” that is a declaration that He will work miracles in your life. So if it is a miracle you need, it is a miracle you will get!
- If you are poor and God says, “I will be your God,” it means that you will be well-provided for. Since God fed nearly three million Israelites in the wilderness every single day for 40 years, you can be sure that God will provide for you too.
- If you are sick and God says, “I will be your God,” it means that He is going to be “the Lord who heals you” (Exodus 15:26), and you will be healthy.
- If you have incurred a huge debt and God says, “I will be your God,” it means that He will bring about a supernatural cancellation of your debt.
Too good to be true? Read on.
To be God’s people means to be the protected ones. Not all on earth are God’s people — only we who are redeemed by the blood of Christ. During times of uncertainties, God says to you, “You shall be My people.” This means that you are protected from all economic crisis, pestilences, plagues, attacks and destruction. God’s power comes into every challenge you face when He says to you, “I will be your God and you shall be My people.” You will experience the supernatural life.
But you said, “Wait a minute. There are so many of us are still experiencing hardship of many kinds like finances, jobless, illness, family, depression, children, etc .”
Well my answer is that you should start to believe what He has said: Live as a blessed son, stay true to His promises and act like it is so! Try it by sorting out your belief-lifestyle and you will find out that your life will never be the same.
Jesus told His disciples in John 16:23-24, “I tell you the truth, my Father will give you whatever you ask in my name. Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete.” If prayer did nothing other than what Jesus promised, it would be one of the greatest gifts God has given us. But prayer does even more. It changes the ordinary man or woman and make them extraordinary.
When God said, “I will be you God”, He means it. My question to you is that, “Do you believe what God has promised you and live accordingly?”
This week prayers are focus on Marriages and Families. Please pray with an open Bible:
- Thank God for your Marriage and family – 1 Thess. 5:18.
- Ask God for love, peace, and joy to reign and control your marriage and home. Rom. 5:5; Isaiah 32:17- 18.

- Ask God to do new and great things in your marriage and family this year. Isaiah 43:18 – 19; Joel 2:21; John 2:2 – 10.
- Pray for the blessing of the womb for every family that is in need of this.
- Ask God to touch our family members, cousins & relative so that they too will come to accept Jesus as their savior.

- Ask God to help us remove the mask on our face. It’s time. It’s too painful to continue enduing such a burden.
- For those who is still single, pray that God will send you a partner of His choice. Save all the future headache-lah.
- For those who is engaged or contemplating to get marriage, ask God to show you in the scripture the pattern for godly living. Ask God to help you come together to explore the wisdom of the Bible and set powerful prayer time together.
